Creator and presenter of TOCK.Earth children’s environmental education programme which has reached over 20000 children in the last 2 years – using the arts to inspire children to care for the Earth including original songs and music videos incorporating Te Reo Māori and NZ Sign Language.
Learning Through Music
With music being at my core, after the birth of my daughter, I set up a my own musical preschool programme in the UK called Teeny Tunes. This was a massive hit with parents, toddlers, pre-school children and early learning centres.
Since making NZ my new home, I developed a new programme called Learning Through Music building on my experience as a numeracy / literacy teacher to use the power of music as a fun educational tool incorporating my own original songs, music, puppets and engaging props that the children simply adore. I deliver multiple sessions every week to early learning centres and pre-schools across the greater Christchurch region.
My music has now engaged and is loved by many thousands of NZ children.

TOCK.Earth
My husband and I created the loveable time travelling robot TOCK to inspire and help young tamariki through music and creative arts to care for our wonderful planet. He is the star of our beautifully illustrated children’s book, TOCK Saves the Earth and our series of original uplifting environmental songs
Since 2020 I have been visiting pre-schools and junior schools with TOCK, providing fun interactive, music filled environmental education workshops.
TOCK has positively touched thousands of children, teachers and families through the workshops, fun environmental competitions, original songs, music videos, games, crafts, activities and facts.

Performances
Above all I have been entertaining people with music for most of my life and have had the pleasure of performing across multiple countries to a wide range of audiences from private functions to large public events.
I am passionate about helping the community and the magical way music, as a universal language,can connect, comfort and inspire people of all ages.
In addition to writing, singing and performing my own songs, I have organised and presented multiple concerts to bring people together, both audiences and performers.
Some examples include…
A Celebration of Screen and Stage – for this, I brought together over 100 performers (of varying ages and talents) across the district to perform a musical variety concert to hundreds of people. This was financially supported by Selwyn Creative Communities NZ.
100 Years On – To commemorate a 100 years since the 1st World War, I organised and hosted a large community concert featuring songs and imagery from the 1st and 2nd World Wars and ending with a traditional good old fashioned war time sing-a-long. This attracted hundreds of Christchurch residents, many of whom fondly remember the concert to this day.
Sing Your Heart Out Christchurch – Having experienced the devastating impact of the Christchurch Earthquakes first hand, I was inspired to write a song to bring hope to communities across the region, ‘Like the Phoenix from the Ashes’. I recorded this with local school children and went on to produce a full album of uplifting songs. With funding from Creative Communities NZ, I further delivered a series of free concerts across the affected communities, culminating with a large Christchurch wide concert bringing multiple artists together to perform.
